Bird of Paradise "Bird of Paradise" was painted on location outside of Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is possibly the most admired flower in the islands because of its bright colors and distinctive shape. There are many exotic plants in Hawaii, but this one always takes center stage!

Fish Stories Probably nobody really knows, but I think fish hang out and tell stories, and that is what this painting is about. Again, this began as a realistic project to showcase the colorful reef fish we saw while snorkling, but then it just took off and went quickly into a different mode! Well, that's how it often goes in my world. Hope you enjoy it, 'cause it sure was fun to do....
